Cats prefer to scratch on a solid surface that is tall enough to stretch out on. The extra tall 30" height allows cats to stretch to their full length and get a good scratch. The Supreme Post is built with a heavy & wide base (15" x 15") to stabilize the post and encourage use. The cap at the top is sturdy and wide enough for most cats to perch on and survey their territory.
The base and cap are built of real wood panels covered with high quality carpet. The post is a heavy duty 4" tube designed to withstand daily use. It is covered with a thick natural fiber cloth that provides a durable rough surface for claws that cats love.
Easy assembly, just one screwdriver required to affix base.
